An announced agreement between Snapchat and an acquiring entity will qualify for a “Yes” resolution, regardless of whether the acquisition is ultimately completed.

The primary resolution source for this market is official information from Snapchat and/or its leadership, however a consensus of credible reporting will also be used.

This market will resolve to “Yes” if credible reporting confirms that any entity enters into an agreement to acquire a United States–based exchange registered with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) as a designated contract market (DCM) by December 31, 2025, 11:59 PM Eastern Time (ET). Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”.

Mergers where a DCM is subsumed by another entity will count toward a "Yes" resolution.

An announced agreement between a DCM and an acquiring entity will qualify for a “Yes” resolution, regardless of whether the acquisition is ultimately completed.

Acquisitions announced prior to this market’s release will not qualify.

Any DCM acquired in 2025?

This market will resolve to "Yes" if it is announced that Warner Bros. Discovery will be, has been, or is being acquired by or merged with the listed entity by 11:59 PM ET on May 31, 2026. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No".

If no merger or acquisition takes place by the specified date, this market will resolve to "No Acquisition by May 31, 2026".

An official announcement will qualify for a "Yes" resolution, regardless of whether the merger or acquisition is ultimately completed. 

Any merger or acquisition will qualify regardless of whether it regards Warner Bros Discovery's entire company or separate transactions for its Warner Bros. or Discovery Global businesses.
